A name, telephone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the search results. Our own servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you email us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Like most hosted services, the site may receive standard server-log details such as an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review that information in aggregate for security, maintenance, and general traffic understanding. Cookies or similar technologies may support basic analytics and, where used, advertising measurement.
How We Use Information
We use the limited information described above to operate the service, troubleshoot issues, measure aggregate use, and improve the reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
Links may lead to Township, county, and state record portals, library collections, archives, or third-party search services. The policy of that destination, rather than this policy, governs data you submit there. The same is true of sponsored results supplied by a third party.
Who Can Process Data
Hosting and support providers may process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose information when valid legal process requires disclosure and not for unrelated purposes.
Security Practices
The site uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no site accounts, passwords, or visitor profiles to expose through this service.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Information Choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal data that this private reference service keeps about you. New Jersey research used for this site does not identify a general state consumer-privacy statute applicable here, so no such statute is claimed. Because we retain very little, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant server logs, then removing what is found. Use the Contact page for that request.
Government-held public records are outside our control. Raritan Township requests for identified records go to the custodian under the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq. Other privacy limits can apply: the federal Driver’s Privacy Protection Act constrains MVC data; N.J.S.A. 19:31-18.1C restricts commercial or charitable solicitation using voter-list data; N.J.S.A. 2C:52-1 et seq. governs expungement; and Daniel’s Law can require protected-address review. Safe at Home program details were not confirmed in the research, and this site does not attempt to bypass any protected-address program.
